This is an intentionally average portrait of one of the main characters of Larry David's Broadway play Fish in the Dark. Gloria, played by Jayne Houdyshell, is an unpleasant character whose portrait had been painted by her husband Sidney. During each performance, Gloria's daughter-in-law would throw spaghetti at the painting to demonstrate how much she despised her.
